BVB are set to travel to the capital for their final match of the year as they close out the first half of the season away to Hertha BSC on Saturday (kick-off 18:30 CET). On the eve of the match, Dortmund coach Marco Rose answered the questions posed by journalists at the pre-game press conference. Marco Rose on the personnel situation: "Thorgan Hazard just had cramp. With Marius Wolf, we'll see in training today whether he can be an option for tomorrow. Mats Hummels and Gregor Kobel have a cold. We'll have to see how it develops. Raphael Guerreiro took part in training yesterday. It's not yet clear whether he can play or not." …Donyell Malen: "We've always said that we're convinced of his abilities. But it was always clear to us that he needs time to adapt. He has done that very well in the last few weeks. He's playing with a lot more confidence, showing for the ball more, demonstrating his flair and chipping in with scorer points. Now we have to work to make sure he can keep it up." …Hertha BSC: "We should always assume that the team we're up against will be at their best on the day. Hertha BSC have individual quality, pace and good footballers in abundance. When BVB come to town, that motivates every team. They have little to lose and can look forward to the game as they know they have a chance to upset one of the top teams. We've had a decent first half-season so far and we can make it a very decent one if we get another win tomorrow. That has to be the goal." …the overall performance in the first half-season: "The Champions League exit has dampened the mood. In the Bundesliga, we've done a really good job of picking up points until now. We've had to deal with a lot of fluctuations in the matchday squad. Despite that, we still have 34 points. We've had a lot of good performances, but we've also had a few with room for improvement. I still see us on a decent path. We will continue to work and fight and pursue ambitious goals.
