Successful special jersey auction: €25,000 raised for "leuchte auf"

The Bundesliga home match against VfB Stuttgart was dedicated to the 50th birthday of the stadium on 2 April. In honour of this anniversary, Borussia Dortmund's first team played the match in a special jersey with a design that incorporated, among other things, the various expansion stages of the Westfalenstadion, which opened in 1974 and is now SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.

BVB then used this opportunity to auction off the special jerseys worn and signed by the players from the starting XI via the MatchWornShirt auction platform. The auction of the special jerseys raised around €25,000 and will enable the club's foundation 'leuchte auf' to financially support other social projects in the local area.
